I've been trying to post some pictures of Emma, but I keep getting a message about diamond membership to upload photos, so sorry, just have to say that she is major cute!! and has tripled in sized in 2 1/2 months. This little girl is now about the size of a small lab and she is not quite 5 months old. This breed isn't fully grown until 3 years, so OMG...who knows how big she will be. Interesting thing, two of her brothers were in the same puppy kindergarten class and were totally towering over her. One of the big guys is now about 55 lbs. and she is just almost 33 lbs. so maybe she will be a delicate little (big) flower.... and that is her Kennel name....Prairiefire's Promise Me Flowers. Interesting story behind the Promise part. Our breeders were very good friends with a Canadian breeder that owned Emma's Mom and Dad. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and before she died, asked Sharon and Mark, our breeders, to promise to take the two dogs into their kennel in the US and breed them. So, Hershey and Keeper came to live in Colorado and produced 14 lovely little Bernese puppies. And hopefully, down the road, I will have time to maybe compete in another challenge match. BTW, nobody seems to be around anymore...where is everyone??
