Okay, Folks! Announcing the Two-Fer
Gamers' Cove Challenges:
The two games are: (1) Teddy Tavern
and (2) Wandering Willows.

This dual-competition will run starting Today, Wednesday, February 15th, 2012. We will run Teddy Tavern Challenge
until Wednesday, February 29th at 10:00 p.m.
Now... the Wandering Willows Challenge we will
run up until the point in time when one
player achieves all twelve (12) Achievement Medals.

I will post links for both games separately in this thread.

A High Score Leaderboard will be maintained, so
posting of level scores for Teddy Tavern
will be required. A new game
must be started for the competition.

Please keep Teddy Tavern
level scores updated, in this thread,
and please message me
with your score-breakers
when you manage to
break others' high scores listings.

For the Wandering Willows Comp,
please try to make regular postings
indicating your progress in reaching
the Achievement Medal goals.

For both games, please try to keep
the other challenge participants
abreast of progress by way of regular posts.
Your cooperation in this regard is appreciated;
this is, after all, what brings us together -- a
common desire to play games in a
competitive environment for the fun, pleasure
and camraderie we can all derive from
this interaction!!

Sharing of tips and strategies is encouraged!

A couple of things on Teddy Tavern:  
Once again there is not Total Score when you finish.  I wish devs. would realize the importance of this in a TM game.

There are no set number of customers or meals served per level.  I tried lvl 4 five times and got 5 different numbers.

Thanks for your post, Ljot.  Man... it is so totally frustrating, Rob, to find that there is -- once again -- no total score indicated for completion of a challenge game.  You make a very valid observation that TM developers are dropping the ball when it comes to considerations such as these.

Interesting, though, that this game -- like the Cooking Dash series -- varies the numbers of customers and meals served according to how fast you get through the level.  That is one very nice feature the developer has picked up on, I must say -- makes competitions that more interesting.

Rob and Cupcake I would love to know how you two are getting these scores lol. I have sat here for the last two days trying to get close to your scores especially yours cupcake and Im still anywhere from thousand to four thousand off from you .

Im only on level 28 but got curious on some of your scores and have went back and replayed and still cant match them or even get close to them.

What are you doing to get these scores if you dont mind sharing because I have tried everything and nothing is working.   I know if you move faster you get more people ., but what else are you all doing ?

Steeler, what I've noticed about the game is the Power-Ups make a world of difference.  Other than Cupcakes faster hand-eye coordination she gets the upgrades of the bird and cat early on.  Hope that helps, (even I am having a hard time getting close to some of her scores.)

Thought I should probably give you some tips, Steeler.. My dad has been watching over my shoulder, so its not really big news to him.. Part of the way I have been getting such high scores is that I dont really care if I get the full points for the full happiness on the bears. I just try to get tem in and out as quickly as I can. And another thing. When they have dirty plates left over from when they leave, don't automatically clear them; wait for at least 2 or 3, but if there are 4 or 5, then you can get those combos on top of the ones you have been getting. It makes it a lot easier. And when the game starts to get hard, and things are going super fast, wait to clear the plates until someone is sitting at the seat. I dont know if you have already figured this out yet or not, but it doesnt matter if there is a plate on the tabole or if its clean; bears still sit there regardless. This makes it a lot easier to get the combos for food and not have to worry about clearing the plate quickly to make room for the next bear to sit down.. I dont exactly have a strategy. If its an early level, I try and do combos. If its one of the later levels, then I try and get them in and out of there as quickly as I can. And it also really helps that I dont need to look down at what product makes what. I pretty much know where everything is. In the past week alone, I have probably gone through the game at least 4 times, if not 5. And if things get too hard on some of the later levels, go to the menu and try challenge mode. Trust me, you wont think things are quite as hard anymore.. Haha well, good luck, and i hope the tips i gave you help!                 -CupcakeFaerie

thank you cupcake :o) that helps . Usually, Im really good at these TM games and you had me wondering what the heck I was doing wrong you had me by thousands of points and I couldnt figure out how you was doing it lol.

Im going to go back and finish it. I have been obessing over some of the scores it bugs me when I cant do something , someone else has done especially in a game lol.

I need to hurry up and get this finish and then go back and replay again .  Thank you very much !!!

Regarding Wandering Willows....I need one more collar to get the medal, it's climb +2...I've looked all over both grasslands and tropics, but seem to be unable to find it.  Is there one area I should concentrate on?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Cruzer, I've been there alot, and seems like I should have gotten it earlier in the game, I have climb +3 and +4 but somehow missed that one.  Will go back again and try again.  Frustrating!!  and just need the pink robot MX what ever, but he just gives me stuff...I need the silly egg!!!

Wow, MV.... you are really cruising through Wandering Willows!  I can't believe you are so close to completing the game -- great going!!  Yeah, it would seem if you got the other collars you would have gotten climb+2 before the others -- but, nah.... that would be too easy!  *smile*

I'm sure you have one of the pets who is known for getting eggs from the other critters; like: Tooey, Cooey, Monnie or Loopia.  I think those are probably the best ones.
